Jeremy Annear (b.1949)
Jeremy Annear was born in Exeter in 1949, and trained at the Exeter School of Art. He lives and works in Cornwall, and his controlled abstract paintings and drawings demonstrate his early exposure to the paintings of the School of St Ives artists ( eg. Ben Nicholson and Roger Hilton), and also the influence of 20th century European Artists such as Braque, Miró, Picasso and Gris.
He is a member of the Newlyn Society of Artists, the Penwith Society of Artists and exhibits regularly in the UK and Europe.
