Paris is always a good idea!

Charles Malle, Le Quai d'Orsay

If February is the month of love, Paris is definitely the city of romance. Let's take a stroll through the Parisian avenues with a selection of paintings of the Ville Lumières.

Above you can see a new addition to our collection, Le Quai d'Orsay by Charles Malle (b. 1935). During a lifetime spent pursuing his twin passions of restoring antiques, and painting, Malle was always inspired by memories of France as it was in his youth – fairs, snowy towns, the sea, and busy Paris squares and streets.
