Henrietta Czernin makes each unique piece of hand blown art glass using ancient techniques with a modern twist.
She had no formal training but has developed her style in the studio over the past six years. This hands-on approach has served her well, as she is unconstrained in her use of the glass. She experiments freely with both colour and form to create original pieces.
She enjoys working with a generosity of colour, but has also developed a style leaving clear space within the glass to allow some pieces to seemingly float. Other pieces draw your eye to the very centre of the form.
Henrietta takes her inspiration from the world around her, particularly the changing view from her waterside home.
